I'm just a few hours in the game, but these are the things I noticed that were different (besides graphics):
SPOILERS
There are more sets now, you can get a set of armor in the very beginning of the game.
When you attack with the 'normal' fire-attack of the dragon, it growls. I'm not sure if I find it an improvement or not...
