You should already have the spell from the sailor; he gives you a book when you rescue him from the pillar near where Kennith starts off. Head to the windy peninsula and read the book from your inventory. BTW, there is a hidden cave under the end of that peninsula; if you have not found it yet you can jump into the water and swim to the entrance.
