We offered it to a number of US publishers, but most first want to see how it performs in Europe. We're doing our best to make it perform well so that it can hopefully be published early next year in the US. I expect it's the same for a lot of other independent devs in Europe.
As much as I hate to say it since I am a box collector the rise of digital distribution is really going to save my gaming hobby. I am so bored of mainstream games right now but on the PC digital distribution means anyone can make and sell a game on PC. I got Flames of Vengeance right away because on the PC with digital distribution nothing comes between you guys and me when I want to buy the game and you want to sell it.
The sad thing with consoles is that despite digital distribution being viable on consoles this will not be the same. You still need Microsoft or Sony's permission to sell the game, you need to go through their license and certification processes and they are very bias toward large publishers, even on their arcade service. It's a shame.
That's why open systems rock.
