Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Divinity II - The Dragon Knight Saga DKS's ending. I am ambivalent ..(WARNING SPOILERS)

Yesterday night i finally reach the ending of DKS and i was VERY anxious to see the ending. I must admit that of all the scenarios i made myself in my head i never saw that one coming!

I was very happy that it ended in a way so unpredictable and yet so tragic for Rivellon! The ending video was cool i think and i was happy to see that fabled ''Divine'' at long last. We heard about him so much but never got to see him yet (was it the ending video of DKS or the opening video of FoV? im kind of unsure)
One Major dissapointment tho was that there was no fight with Damian ..... the whole game we clash with him in words only to finally get bent on our hunger of violence on him. Another dissapointment is that after all my efforts to crash Damian's Floating Towers they still are put to use by him on Aleroth's forces in the end. I recall seeing a post from someone wondering if it was worth trashing them ... i got my answer in the ending (altho it was worth it XP-wise, of course).

All that being said i loved the ending despite some little annoyances. I am very anxious to Start FoV and get some answers to the various questions that werent answered in the end of DKS

yes that ending was where Ego draconis finished but I had a bad feeling that something along thouse lines would happen I remember fighting the last battle thinking this is wrong I'm not going to like what comes next. I have a bad feeling all the way through the game that there was more going on than meets the eye I've played to many RPG's to not know that there is always a hidden story within the main story one that only serfaces close to the end of the game. Although I was expecting something bad to happen I was'nt expecting to see the Divine nice work larian it's not often anyone manages to supprise me on a game but you did it congrats
