Hello there folks i seem to have trouble finding how to access my dragon "tab" where i put gear and skills for my dragon form... And one more question. Will i be able to use my dragon form wheres i see fit or the story will force it?

Well you can spend points and wear items for your dragon form , when you are in dragon form (after you get the ability to use dragon form anyway), which you can use usually when you are not in an anti-dragon zone and have enough space to turn into a dragon, though in flames of vengeance you can't dragon form until the climax of the game for story reasons.

Usually I use dragon form just for quick travel, also ground npcs vanish when you are in dragon form so you can't do fly bys and set everyone on fire.

In the Flames of Vengeance part of the game, the answer is no. You can't access your dragon skills at all.

There is one point in Flames of Vengeance where the story forces you into dragon form.

Perhaps the only disappointing thing in the game. Not being able to go back to say ... Broken Valley and obliterate a town or two just for the heck of it when bored.
But yup, you can't use your dragon at all in the expansion bit, which is a tad sad.
