It's a real shame to hear someone else with the same problem. I have stopped playing it because I had spent over 20 hours to get there. I was hoping it was just me and I could start over at a later date.
I copied my profile and save game to my son's 360 and it crashed again at the same spot.
No word yet but Larian Studios have a copy of my save game and I pray they can find a fix. I don't even want to start Flames of Veng until I have completed Ego Draconis side!
In the mean time I can only wait and pray this can be sorted some how as I love this game to death.
