Well, guys, probably you are playing a copy from the bad stock. Mine, US release, is perfectly OK. I have never had any problems at all.

Maybe we should all go over to CDV (the publisher of D2:ED on Xbox in the USA) and flood them with requests for DKS. They might get the hint that they can make some money publishing it in the US. Let them hear from the masses.

I purchased mine on steam.

If it does not get published over here, I'm gonna probably purchase, and import a box copy.

You guys should just get it on steam :O

Bad Stock? think

I just think the game isn't really optimized for the xbox. That being said, with CDV out of the picture I think it highly unlikely that Larian could convince another publisher to take this game on considering the failure of Ego Draconis sales-wise in the US. This of course sucks.

The only problem I ever had with Ego Draconis is a few minor freezes. Other than that, the game was pure gold for me. The Dragon Knight Saga is all about Flames of Vengeance for me. However, an enhanced Ego Draconis is just icing on the cake. Now, if only we could get a US release date.

Hi all,

A couple of comments:

I first have to apologize as I got my versions and info wrong- there's no 360 version out in Canada yet and had I thought longer than a second when informing you, I should've realized that that was actually impossible. There should however be a boxed PC version available in Canada of DKS.

Also, regarding a US 360 version, just because we haven't posted anything about it in the last couple of weeks, doesn't mean it's not going to happen. We're in talks with a fairly large number of publishers/distributors for the moment who are interested in bringing DKS to the US so I'm quite hopeful that's still going to happen. As I mentioned in a previous post, most first wanted to see how the game was going to do in Europe, and since that's going fairly well, it follows that their interest levels increased significantly.

Thanks for giving us some hope.

Let it be known that if and when the XB360 version of DKS is on sale in the US, I will pick up a copy immediately.

Completely agreed. I made some soppy topic somewhere on the forums about it breaking my heart when I first found out it wasn't launching state side. I remember me and my friends calling/checking in at local stores well over twenty times to see if they had gotten it in their systems yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Day one release for us here too.

I will also pick up a copy when it gets released. I'm enjoying the current version I have on my 360 and the DKS version with all that it does to improve the original game and it comes with the FoV add-on that gives another 20-30 hours of game play is something that I have to get.
