You CAN transfer your ED character to FOV. You CAN also transfer your DKS_ED character to DKS_FOV.
You CAN'T transfer your ED or FOV character to DKS_FOV (or DKS_ED). This is because the savegame format is different between the two, so they're simply not compatible.
If you have ED and want to play the expansion you can always get FOV seperately (you can get it from
http://www.larianvault.com/). A patch will be released in the near future that turns ED + FOV into DKS.
