Is it Province specific because in Calgary, Alberta I still cant find it at any place listed or on their systems. When I ask them to search it doesn't even exist and we are one of biggest cities in the country.

Try

www.gamestop.ca
www.futureshop.ca
www.bestbuy.ca

Check for your selves I swear its not available anywhere in Canada on xbox 360 or at least not shipped yet.

If it's available in Canada, it's probably being hoarded by the eastern provinces, and they're playing it on the 360 and laughing at the misfortune of us western peasants.

That is great news...time to make a trip up north (come'on, how bad of a drive is Illinois to the 'Great White North??'), or wait for it to show up on Ebay. My one concern is if the Canadian version needs patching, will my XBox 360, which is registered in the USA notice that an update is available? (if one does come come out)??

I'd like answers to the wheres and whens of a USA release as well. Is it going to happen soon (if ever)? Or will it likely be in limbo for a while? Maybe I'll start my own publishing company and offer to publish it, if no one else steps up.

As for a Canadian release, would it be essentially identical to the US version, and thus be fully compatible? The above poster's concerns over versions and patchings are my own, but if it should work fine and without any problems, I know someone in Canada who can probably get the game for me.

IMO, we shouldnt expect a US release until atleast the first part of 2011 IF Larian can get a publisher on board. If no publisher, who knows.

Whether or not the game will be compatible with LIVE service in the US doesnt matter to me, I intend to buy the Canadian 360 version as soon as it becomes available. My only concern on that would be that microsoft would not offer the same dlc content to subscribers in the states if the game has not yet been released there as well, but thats a minor issue. If nothing else, i'll buy the Canadian version, play it and sell it on ebay once the US version comes out down the road.

If possible incompatibility between US LIVE service and the Canadian game is a major issue to you all, I will make it a point to post results IF the Canadian DNS version ever becomes available in stores. Assuming, of course, that we dont get a straight answer from the Larian crew before that time comes.

Yes, I am buying Canadian Xbox 360 version as well, as soon as it comes out. The game shouldn't require major patches to fix bugs, and some cosmetic patches will be irrelevant. Concerning DLC it is also not a major issue for me. For D2ED we had I believe 5 dls, and all of them were nice sets of armor and weapons, but no new quests or locations.

Speaking of dlc armor, has it been discussed if the dlc from D2:ED will work with D2:DNS? specifically a nice suit of armor that came with the copy of ED i bought, redeemed with one of those behind the cover LIVE codes.

My biggest fear with the ED DLC is that it wouldn't be compatible, and due to how fussy Xbox games are with DLC, would refuse to let you load an ED save into DKS, or some other such nonsense that makes extra content (that in many cases people paid extra for) end up screwing players out of keeping a save and forcing them to restart (sans content). I asked a while ago, but my topic was never acknowledged.

Having to buy the Canadian version would only multiply that fear, though I've not used any DLC and don't really care to (those sets were underwhelming compared with Ulthring's set).

That's great, except a lot of people who are concerned about this are discussing the Xbox 360 version specifically. Obviously PC isn't nearly as big a problem in regards to releases.

Well like I said already game doesn't exist on XBOX360 in Canada so either its not been released or the distributor is full of shit.

It is not even in the computer systems of any of the Canadian stores listed.

I wish we could get an approximate date for a Canadian xbox 360 release. Apparently the distributor/publisher is saying it SHOULD be in stores, but it is DEFINITELY not.

Hopefully we will get the Dragon Knight Saga for 360 the early part of next year. I have been dying to play Flames of Vengeance. If and when it does release, it will be an easy day one buy for me.

It sucks... the 360 version of Ego is so buggy and f'd in the a. I'd love to have a better version of this game as you can really see that there is a good rpg under all this glitch. Is there a reason why the developer couldn't give us a clue as to when/if this game is coming to the US? Is CDV out of the picture? Its just frustrating at this point.

The xbox 360 version of D2ED is already patched. There are practically no bugs left (I played three times, and I didn't notice any). Saves are not corrupted anymore. The patch is an automatic update from Live, or it is already on the disk (later copies of the game). No need to wait for anyting if you really want to play D2ED.

I'm playing it right now and you're wrong. The game is glitchy as hell. Runs like frozen mud and has some of the worst animations in the history of forever....and yet is still fun. I'd like the upgrade.

I though D2:ED was rather well made. My only complaints were the error that prevented me entering kiara's fortress (the statues error) and the cliff hanger ending.
