Eh, at the end of day, what does it matter so long as the enemy lay slain and limb-less in your wake? It's not as if there is multiplayer matches. I'm currently S+S, but I'm interested in other styles like 2H which I may adopt another play-through.
It's best to go with a weapon style you feel most comfortable with. You can then work around it.
