The problem was that once I killed Zagon, I couldn't fly out, as I was in human form -- once you are in human form down there, you are stuck and can't get out. you can kill zagon, but you can't get out.

That needs to be fixed -- in fact that needs to be fixed multiple places ---
there is just WAY to much limitation on changing into dragon form, the biggest being that you have alot of flat space around you, since when you change, you are automatically placed 10 feet above the ground -- which means you should be able to change into dragon form anytime the area OVER you is clear.

Another thing I'd **like** to see (not critical), but would be the ability for me to LAND in dragon form, and walk around....

Also, come on -- just like with 'Ty' fighters (Star wars) or any areal combat scenes you see fighters aiming and making it through impossibly tight spaces -- but in this game? It requires 10 feet on all sides, like a dragon is some delicate 'flower' that couldn't handle getting a scrape from anything -- dragon hides are tough, and could easily handle scraping against things -- but many places where there is plenty of room if my wings are tight against me, like in a dive, the game won't let me dart through (remember the test back in Maxos's castle -- before we fly we leap -- that's like "darting", zooming through a small section with wings folded, then expand on the other side).

There are far too many restrictions on the dragon form to make it fun -- it really is -- like someone else in these forums said, just a lumbering way to transport yourself from A-to-B -- nothing like really being a dragon at all...

I really wish (and this may require a complete 2nd edition that many never come, but would be wonderful), that they would put some major effort into the 3D flying -- controls like allowing me to barrel role, or loop -- you see dragons do that in many portrayals, but this dragon is a bit like a well -- like the dirigibles. Also wish they'd allow for joystick, gamepad and 3D-controller movement on the PC -- even the gamepad would have been a bonus -- why DISABLE gamepad play on the PC -- especially since Microsoft sells them for the PC?

But for a 3D controller -- check out 3Dconnexion -- full 3D control in all 6 directions -- they have full API's available for hooking up to the game.

Another option -- expose a pluggable interface so users can write their own driver for a device. The best thing that developers can do to make any piece of software fit to a user -- is to make it extensible so users can customize it to their liking -- you'll have much happier users -- and the more freedom given, the more happy users you will get and the bigger the user base.

The oblivian user base has been active LONG after the game came out -- that's a huge testament to the game designers. It's really very sad that they never came out with a redo of that game...I know manypeople would buy it....

(btw -- alot of the game-engine/physics in divinity feel much like the oblivian interface...is there / was there any shared code?)....
