Isn't that a nice future to look forward to? All because too many companies are simply too greedy to realise that their "business" practices are the very thing that's slowly killing the industry!
Welcome to bonus culture: someone's probably made themselves a mint by forcing an unworkable agreement through. By the time it comes to reaping what they've sown, the management merry-go-round has moved them elsewhere and it's become somebody else's problem to fix... which they'll probably do by making a similarly unworkable policy, get a bonus and then be shuffled away again.
