Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Technical problems Finished ED, freeze before FoV intro

I just finished ED for the second time, but this time when finishing the final fight and seeing the ending cinematic, it goes to a black loading screen (with the spinning symbol on the bottom right) and sits there. This is DKS from Steam (US), and it has worked in the past the one time, but I believe I ran into a bug preventing my character from loading up properly into FoV. I have let the black screen go for up to about 5 min, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

I'm on Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit (UAC disabled).
CPU: i7 920
RAM: 6GB
Video: Radeon HD 4870 X2

Just wanted to post that although it didn't work yesterday, today it did. Nothing was changed, it just worked. I had tried about 3 or 4 times before to no avail, but today it worked on my first try.

You didn't install anything? Do you have automatic updates running? If so, can you check the log if you received an update in the last two days?

No, no Windows updates since 11/23 and no updates to the game either. It was just odd, several restarts of the game led to the same problem. But then it just worked. Everything worked beautifully the first time I finished ED, but this last time was painful.

I had even done a verification of all local files via the Steam interface and it was still crashing on transition, so I know for sure that I didn't just randomly have a corrupted file.

Ihave the same problem... Finished ED and after the Divine's speech it's going to a loading screen... after that it goes to a black screen... and the problem is that I have tried many times loading the final battle winning and then waiting and it just seems it cant been fixed... :@
