When playing the game, usually in a Dungeon or a Flying Fortress, the game's sound will randomly kick out. It makes a sound as if my speakers were turned off (A loud thump), and when I go into the menu it gets recovered. When I leave the menu, it gets lost again. Usually, saving and then loading that save will fix this issue, but sometimes a full restart of the game is required.

My Sound Card is a HTO Striker 7.1, I have the most recent drivers.

I noticed this once myself, but it only happened once. Not a sound card issue per se, since mine is a Soundblaster.

Which version are you playing? Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis, Divinity 2 - Flames Of Vengeance or Divinity 2 - The Dragon Knight Saga? In which language?

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Happens to me as well from time to time in DII - DKS. (English) I am on a Creative X-FI soundcard so, it wouldn't surprise me if that's more the problem than the game.

It's not a game breaker or anything, and like the other poster said it will sometimes correct itself, and others require a restart.

It happens most often for me after an auto-save/load or location change via teleportation of any variety.
