I asked all three 'specialists' about their respective quest items (pixie dust, piece of flesh, and old blade) from each room, and now Madam Rue just says "You won't leave me, will you?", all three parts of the quest are blue in my log, as if I'd completed that part, but the quest itself it still active (obviously, since I haven't actually solved the problem yet, just investigated)..
