As soon as I hit POST on my topic related to the Sassan issue on XBOX 360 you guys were on the starting line waiting to sort it out. As it was a first and a very unavoidable thing not to of been found under play testing you guys gave me info on how to get my save game to you and it wasn't long before you were on the case once I had sent it.

There was plenty of idea's and advice from you guys while you were trying to find a fix, with even some players managing to sort them selfs out.

Once I had sent my save game to you, you sent me a number of emails and posted a public message to reassure people you had something to work on. By this time most of you knew I was active on your forums and the updates of how things were going were think and fast. This was great and allowed other readers to follow what was happening. This alone made me send people to your forums from other websites if they hand questions about Divinity II DKS be it tips & tricks or if they just wanted to say thank you as it was a friendly place with a great community!

Was a big smile and sigh of relief when you guys posted for all to see that you had found the problem! Knowing what Microsoft are like from other games I have played it's a known problem that we have to wait for Microsoft to give anything the ok before we see it, but it's nice to know it's on it's way. up

Some developers as you may know fall victim to the publishers who will not allow updates to be released so it's great to see a Team Effort getting on top of things like you guys have done!

Many thanks! thankyou

I can say in all honesty, I have never known better after sales support than the one that Larian Studios provide.
A excellent game with excellent support, I would not hesitate to buy from Larian again. I just wish other game company's would follow your lead. thankyou

I am amazed at the response to the missing NPC issue. I have never seen a company that was willing to go to the extents to resolve problems that Larian has. I have worked in the industry for 20 years most of it as a Sr. SQA Engineer and I have never seen this kind of service. You guys are great!

I just registered to reply to this topic.

Tech and game support is insane !

You even have guys/ gals patrolling other game forums ( STEAM, D2D etc ) offering help and links.

Other game companies could learn a thing or two about game and customer support from your studio.

I can't remember a time when tech support was offered other then on the " Official " forums.

You guys rock...!!!

Keep up the good work and I'll keep on buying your games.

Peace

Quite simply this:

You guys have set the standard that other game companies should strive to achieve.

I wish I could get aftersales service like this for everything I buy.

I am impressed with the level of support received here by both myself and others, especially the turn-around people have experienced with their savegames being fixed and the level of concern shown by the devs when it comes to fixing bugs. And I wasn't even bribed to say that! grin Seriously, though, it is good and in marked contrast to what is often the case elsewhere.

You mean to say you didn't get your free copy of Divinity III (Willy's revenge)? I would complain if I were you, they should treat us all equally. wink

Ssh! We were told not to let on, remember? grin

P.S. I'm having real problems with the Rabbit of Doom blocking access to the portal leading to Willy's alternate dimension. Any ideas how I can slay it? I've tried tempting it away with the enchanted carrot, but no luck so far.

You are all so kind to express your gratitude! Remember we couldn't fix the save games if you didn't run into trouble so in many ways we owe this great and fast support to our fantastic players!

We love you all! Keep showering us with your compliments!

Same here. That's a few emails I've had now, the latest even after I'd concocted my own work-around to inform me what had gone wrong and that it was being fixed. Really top stuff.

Also there is some funny shit happening with Rodney in the barracks, if you turn in farmer Jackson but don't see the arrest scene and do the quincy thing he becomes none interact able. We've fixed that and hopefully that's fine as well. Anyway working to fix stuff!

Well I am happy with tech support! Had a problem with the game and it was fixed quickly and devs respond on forums often. Many companies, like Bethesda, have a lot to learn here.
