First of all, I want to say Hi to this cosy community! I've read some posts, and you all seem to be cool people to discuss/talk with. I'm sure I'll enjoy my time being on these forums!
That being said, I'd like to have some pointers on these following classes. - (Pure Warrior, Battle Mage)
I've bought this game approximately 2 weeks ago, and I'm absolutely blown away by it. It's simply amazing, period. :P
Now, in every RPG I play, I start out as a simple, yet effective Warrior. The thing is, I don't know in what I should invest my Status Points. Every level you receive 4 points, which I mostly distribute into Vitality and Strength (Which is quite obvious, since I'm a Pure Str Warrior, right?)
Now, I've read the thread called: "Characer Optimization", which said that spending points in Str is rather useless, and you'd be better of investing it in Intelligence, since it raises one's Magic Damage by 1, Magic Resistance by (?), and Mana regenaration by (?) %. And since almost every weapon has Magic Damage, it'd be better to invest my points in Int than Str? This sounds kind of obvious, I know - but I just want to hear this from you guys, wanting to know your opinions on this. Should I invest my points in Int, rather than Str, or am I better off investing in Str?
All in all, in what should I invest my Status Points? Like I said, my first playthrough is a Pure Warrior one, nothing more.
Anyways, that was the Warrior part. In my second PT, I'd like to play as a 'Battle Mage'. It sounds rather fun to play as a Hybrid, I think.
I heard, as a Battle Mage, it's best to use Dual Wielding weapons, since it has double Enchantming Slots, and faster DPS. Alright, that sounds obvious..
So, as a Battle Mage, in what should I invest my:
Skill Pointa
And
Status Points?
Also, what'd be a nice way to make some decent cash? And what sets of armor should I buy?
I'm sorry for all these questions, but I'd appreciate it if you guys could clear this up for me (:.
