All I can say is that you can spec your char early in the game. Just invest your stat points wisely, and save up unused points for later. Basically when all 3 main stats reach 10 to 15, you can stop using your points unless you really having problem killing mobs. Reason, everyone will be getting different gear with different bonuses and charms. Make use of those bonuses from gears and charms, since stat points cant be reseted like skill points later in the game
As for hp and mp concern, it can be easily settle by using accessories that boost hp and mp amount. Rings and belt will offer those 2 boosts. As your level increase, hp and mp increment on the rings and belt will increase as well. You can always check up the vendor every 2 to 3 level to see what they can offer. 1 vitality/ spirit only offer 7 hp /mp, so 100+ hp or mp stats on rings and belt will offer you a better choice than just blindly investing in stats. When you reach orobas fjords, you can easily purchase legendary grade gears once you able to get to aleroth, as well as +4 stats charms. Necklace, bracelet and earrings will provide you with stats bonuses as well as skill bonus
If you manage to spec your character carefully, you can easily get all 3 main stats to 90+ with the help of charms and accessories by lvl30+, no matter what type of char you are playing.
As for skills, I left it for you to explore it yourself, as everyone has their own playing style. Try out every skills which you like, and reset them later if you find better replacement.
