XBOX 360 GAMER: issue 87 (UK Magazine)

SILVER AWARD: A definite 'must buy' that'll look good on your shelf.

Verdict:
There's nothing here that's completely groundbreaking, but it's an addictive adventure that keeps on throwing up new spins on the old hack, slash and magic concept. The brilliant and funny script will keep you hooked through the 40+ hours on gameplay that lurks in both Ego Draconis and its sequal Flames of Vengeance. There are tonnes of dungeons to explore, stacks of skills to level up and many minds to read. Questing is refreshingly open and players needn't stick to one character class. If you took offence to the hand-holding of Fable III, this might just be the game you're looking for.

Score: 8

No problem. 8 is the new 9 when you look at everything else on the market. Black OPS took Gold Award this month so 2nd place is all GOOD! grin

Big names like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood & Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit were also reviewed this month, plus a load of Kinect games. Great DKS gets the Silver Award above everything else!

Nice score !!
It's so fantastic and wonderful how much reviews are coming in last month with mostly 8 and 9 up 10 ! smile

Note about Fable:
Since I don't like hand-holding from the first moment I met a RPG, I don't like the Fable games.

Give me the DKS, I give back a 10/10 ! wink

When people talk to me about how brilliant the Fable series is, (particularly as an RPG,) the only response I have to them, (which I never say out loud) is, "Yes dear, keep taking the medication..."

My ex's daughter loves Fable II and III...everything I hate about it, she loves. She sees being able to complete it fairly quickly, without dying, as a good thing!!! WHAT THE F**K!!! Bah, humbag...the youth of today, eh? Etc...etc...

Personally, I prefer rocking it old-school...BOOYYYEE!!!

I bought once Fable II because I though the story is nice and full of "fantasy" (and I love fantasy!), but I just played this game 3 or 4 times for a hour or two ... but it can hold my attention for longer than that.
