Download size on Steam?

Does anyone know how large it is? I'd prefer to use Steam over the other download services, but for some games their downloads aren't compressed, and I really don't want to use 13gb of my bandwith if that's the case.

If it's compressed it should be between 5 and 6 gigs.

Edit: just checked, it's 7.7 GB.
