I can't seem to reach the green orb after I arrive at the first platform. I'm on the platform near the large door and I am trying to jump to the nearest stone ledge on the wall, but I can't seem to jump high enough. I don't see any other accessible glowing platforms nearby that I can reach so I think that this is the only way to the green orb. Is there any strategy or alternative approach that I can use to reach the green orb?

If it's where I think it is (not absolutely certain since it's been a couple of weeks now), have you tried putting the Helmet of Migraines back on? There's a couple of areas where it makes alternative platforms appear. Or conversely, sometimes you need to unequip it to stop it misleading you.

Vometia has it right,you need to put the helmet on to see some platforms then take it off again to see others.

Just don't put it on/take it off while standing on one of the platforms that only appear with the helmet or it will vanish from under your feet :P

first u pull all the other lever and change it all to green colour( put your helmet on lol)
then you reach the room where the green orb is. go to the other end of the room where there is a large door. take of your helemt and there is a ledge.( Jump Jump Jump) put your helmet on again and (Jump Jump Jump) Until you reach the platform.
the trick is to put your helmet on and off as there are ledges and if u put the helmet on there is a mechanical machine that u can jump on. im on my last hunt on my orb ihave so far green, red, violet, blue, anyone know where the last orb is??
