Securom doesn't bother me too much, I just have to remember to un-install the game. I used to HATE DRM with a passion, but then when Ubi-soft added their "Always online at all times even for a Single player game" DRM, I knew that I could choose between DRM like Securom, or be given one like Ubisoft's.

Publishers will always add some form of anti-piracy to their games as it's somewhat easy to pirate games on the PC. I can understand that, I wouldn't want people to steal my product I worked hard for and make me lose money.

This form of DRM, imo is what I call "invisible." Sure, I have to activate it once or twice (I rarely re-format unless I'm installing a new mobo or a new OS) and I mostly keep all my games installed at once. Once I activate the game, I don't have to bother with it for some time, which is nice.

I'd honestly prefer this to a disk check, but then again, I did buy it digitally.
