Yes, Steam is a form of DRM, but one I've never had to deal with. The only time I have to be online is when I'm buy it, downloading it, and installing it. Then, I can switch Steam to offline mose and never have to deal with it. I have 250+ games on Steam, I have an addiction to buying games :(, and never once have I noticed the DRM in action. The ONLY time I've ever noticed Steam's DRM was when I pirated a valve game and tried to run it without Steam.

Yes, you have to technically run steam, even when it's in offline mode it needs to be running, but I guess because all my friends have it, and I have so many games on Steam, I'd never not have Steam running. If you haven't used Steam in a few years I'd say try it now, it's tons better.

But I digress, if you have a stance against some DRM/Stores, there is nothign wrong with that. I HATE Ubi's DRM, but some people think I'm ignorant for that. We all have our own ridiculous and one sided opinions we'd wish other's would see. :p
