That happened to me with my first character. He kept healing himself to no end. It was not until the 5th or 6th reload, he finally decided he wasn't going to heal himself any more.
This is either a bug or a severe case of poor AI that VERY heavily relies on randomizers. I love this game but, when a container is empty or has dirty socks on one load, and has epic items on another load, tells me that they don't know how to use randomizers.
p.s. Don't give me "that's the way life is" crap please! This is not real life, this is a game to have fun
