Might be worth sending your game into Larian after you read all their tech help sticky threads.

Did you try to play a new game and then load your old game to "kick start" the sound working again?

Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?
