First of all i have to say, that Divinity 2 is an awsone RPG!
I enjoy it very much.
I bought nvidias 3d vision set and it improves immersion very very very much.

So my question:will there be a fix fo the shadow issues concerning 3d vision and divinity 2?

I would say no chance at all - the Gamebryo engine has never been adapted for 3D in any previous game that used it (Oblivion, Fallout 3 etc). I agree that it almost works (Fallout 3 was probably the best) but I think there are fundamental incompatibilities that make it difficult or impossible to remove the last few glitches.

Dragon Age is the only RPG I've found that runs 'perfectly' in 3D (apart from status bubbles appearing at screen depth, but that's pretty common and doesn't bother me).

Moreover, the shadow implementation is ours because Gamebryo's wasn't really good enough.

Don't compare "Gamebryo" games too much with one another, most developers customize the hell out of it smile

ForkTong - I know this is an old thread, but I think this game is great, and it is particularly awesome looking in 3d Vision minus the shadows (and a wierd problem with tree trunks). If this game could be fixed to make the shadows work, it would look mindblowing. If you have not heard of the "Helix Mod", is there any way Larian could use this to fix shadows? the community (and in particular the user Helix) has fixed many many games that have had shadow disasters (Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, Dishonoured, Far Cry 3, loads of them), so it is possible. The problem is you need to be a programmer to understand shader programming (I am not) so my own attempts with this game have failed. Any chance you could find the time to look up the Helix Mod here (http://helixmod.wikispot.org/gamelist) and consider trying the fix for your game yourself that would be awesome. Have a look here for how good the game looks in 3D vision (minus shadows) http://www.3dsolutiongaming.com/az_articles_v4/divinity2/divinity2.html
