Decided to check out the dlc available for this game and it looks like I got a heck of a lucky roll on my blood echelon sword ( didn't add until lvl 20).
1h sword
Melée Dmg 45-75
Magic Dmg 45-75
+ 17 melée dmg
+ 14 magic dmg
2 charm slots
2 enhancement slots
If I added blessed or divine dmg charms to the open slots and the top tier dmg enchants to the enchantments is anything else going to come close unless I over-level? Looked through the forums and while some nice ransoms had higher melée dmg bonuses nothing had higher base dmg and 2 enhancements other than uniques or epic which seem late game to do much.
