Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Technical problems steam game difficulty setting

I cant seem to change the difficulty setting im stuck on normal, it has the bar there but no slider button and doesnt react to any mouse or clicking options
mode tried searching to see anyone else having this problem didnt come across anything . I got the game from steam the dks bundle

Problem
Cannot change difficulty because the slider is missing or invisible.

Solution
Quit the game and then remove this file:

Windows Vista and Windows 7: C:\Users\[WindowsUser]\AppData\Local\Divinity 2\Profile\settings.dv2

Windows XP: C:\Documents And Settings\[WindowsUser]\Local Settings\Application Data\Divinity 2\Profile\settings.dv2

If you cannot find the files, make hidden files visible. After deleting the file, restart the game.
