So, for all you D2D fans and users...here you go.

Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga = $19.99.

Flames of Vengeance = $9.99.
NOTE: FOV from D2D Requires D2D version of Ego Draconis.

So, if anybody has DKS or FOV from D2D...
What does D2D use for its DRM?

Are they using D2D's DRM homebrew?
Or Securom?
Or something else?
Or nothing? (I doubt it's NO DRM - b/c it doesn't say so there)

From the larian valut, the only DRM is an activation to install. This can be done via phone if necessary. You are allowed 3 computers to have the game installed. Larian used a patch to remove the DRM from BD and the latest build on DD has no DRM.

You'll have to look at the FAQ's or fine print from fileplanet's direct-to-drive for their DRM information.

Got mine from Larian Valut as they get the funds in a more direct manner. smile

Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?

I know what those versions have for DRM.
I've never heard anything about what D2D's version of DKS uses for DRM.
I was curious about what D2D's version is using for DRM - b/c that's the version currently on sale.

I ask this b/c sometimes D2D versions of games use different DRM's - depending on the dev/publisher.
Often, D2D has their own homebrew of DRM used for games there;
Sometimes, D2D don't use any DRM and will have that "DRM Free" and an unlocked lock symbol there;
Sometimes they use Securom or other DRM's instead of the D2D homebrew DRM;
OR sometimes they just use 3rd party Steamworks for certain Steam-required games - i.e. FO: New Vegas, Mafia 2, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, etc.

I'd like to know what I'm getting into plastered on the page - like Impulse and Steam games tell you on their game-page.
