The location is listed in the saved game list, so you can hit 'load' and check what it says (then cancel out of that menu). You'd think it would be listed on the map... if you are outside in the fortress, moving the cursor over the doorway markers on the map will list 'exit', 'greenery', 'inner passage' or 'headquarters', but inside the headquarters (this
map) both exits are just marked 'exit' (the northern one is from outside, the southern leads to the arena).
Xanlosch was the name of Stone's necromancer. At least in D2:ED, if you had not taken dragon form during that fight you would not have needed to take out the summoned creatures; after defeating the necromancer and his creature in human form you could have destroyed the generator then and taken flight without incident (that may have been changed in DKS).
When you first enter this one, straight ahead and directly opposite you is a teleporter that does not work. Here's your problem. You are in fact in the headquarters, but if the teleporter was the first thing you noticed, then that implies Stone was not there to greet you. That teleporter, leading to the arena, is likely disabled until Stone goes through, to prevent you from entering the arena too early, but if Stone was missing it wouldn't have been enabled.
So it is down a few steps and turn left, from then on it is a full on brawl, and quite busy, no time for intros and writing down namesDo you remember a cutscene conversation, or was it straight into the fight? There should have been a conversation with Stone (triggered coming down the stairs, IIRC). Email Larian with the save; hopefully they will fix it and get it back tomorrow (it is evening there now), so you'll have it back before the weekend.
On the PC, the patch can be downloaded
here. Last I heard the Xbox patch was still being tested.
