I also agree, but no Elves to buttsecks? frown

NO to DLC idea. Addons are easier to buy and have much more content and depth, and they aren't a rip off (check Dragon Age or Mass Effect, or even that unfamous Stimulus Package from CoD - only fanatics enjoy paying money for basically nothing).

Animations rock? Because I really don't think so. There is not enough of them for talking, and jumping doesn't really look very convincing.

And I agree, but it's not just Divinity 2 - both Divinity games (I don't count Beyond Divinity a divinity game, this filthy piece of heresy is definitely NOT a Divinity game and nobody will convince me otherwise) aren't well known, but if you do know them, you love them, unless you are/were a complete graphicfag. In case of DD1 - graphics were downpar even when it was released. Graphic side of the game was still better than that of Beyond Divinity... Gosh, that 3d was freaking awful! Even Quake and Half-Life, both being some of the first games to use full 3d, had better models, and they were released what, 5-9 years before BD?

I don't care about graphics (I even still play oldies like Half-Life 1, Jazz Jackrabbit and others like that), but gameplay sucked, there was no freedom, and it felt like a bad, failed cousin of Divine Divinity. Even BARRELS were unbreakable! Divine Divinity was praised for all it's possibilities, freedom, nice story and humor (and good fight system too). Beyond Divinity took ALL THAT away, maybe except story, and it gave nothing in return. In DD, don't want to stay in Aleroth? Fine, go and die by Orcs' hand... Unless you are a Mage, then abuse Meteor, or unless you have a bow, they will never catch up to you...

Yeah, DD had it's faults, but BD is a suckage full of bugs, where you can just FEEL that Larian didn't care at all about all this. They had good story, but they just made the game horrible! Not to mention balancing failed. Fire Elementals in chapter 3 (didn't got far in that game, sucked too much) being level 1, oneshooted by you, giving you no experience... What was the point of even putting them there?

Zandalor being level 1 and almost dying after being shot by some elemental? If I invited more of them there, he'd die. Nice try tons o' fun... After seeing THIS heresy on the pile of other faults and the game itself being horrible, I just closed BD and read a bit how it ends. Story was good, but story alone won't save a game.
