Got the DKS today for the 360 (had to import it myself from the UK) Not the first time I've had to import a game and it won't be the last.

Anyway have played some and I'm really enjoying the improvements from D2:ED (which was realised here) and a game I never finished, due to getting my arse handed to me almost as soon as I went near Lovis' tower. Let's hope I fair better this time around smile

My heroine is currently level 8 with a few quests to do before I have to head off toward Lovis' tower and get her dragon from. Currently she's equipped with a bow and two swords and changes between them as needed. Though I might try her out with a two handed sword to see what that looks like.

Yes I'm a guy but most of the time I'll play a female character, got to be the better view I guess. wink

There were a couple other places you could go in D2:ED that were easier than the skeletons around Lovis' tower. That section was rebalanced in DKS, though, and a couple people reported being a level or two higher by the time they reached that point.

There is a bit more to do in Broken Valley before you'll be able to get the dragon form (Lovis' tower is not the battle tower).

I picked the female character mostly for the voice, though trying a male character later I have to say I prefer the female running animation and the look of the female dragon. The view may be a bit better for the first 5 minutes with a female character, but after you upgrade a few pieces of equipment there isn't a lot of difference (at least sitting 8 or 10 feet from the screen).

Hmmph, I play a mage and run around in my skivvies and jewelry unless it's a boss type. You better believe I'm playing a female laugh

How do you do this? What does it cost extra?

PC games you can order online from anyplace that will ship to your country, but with Xbox games they may not be compatible between different regions. The US and Canada both use NTSC for analog TV signals, while the UK and a bunch of other places us PAL.

What Raze said.

Usually I hit ebay UK if there's a game out that I'm interested in that I know has next to no chance of coming out here.

For console games you have to be careful as the UK most of Europe (I think), Austraila and New Zealand all use PAL format, so wasn't a problem for me smile

As for price and postage it pays to have a look around but usually you can find a good deal that won't cost that much extra (assuming the game you're buying ever makes it to where you live)
