Usually I hit ebay UK if there's a game out that I'm interested in that I know has next to no chance of coming out here.
For console games you have to be careful as the UK most of Europe (I think), Austraila and New Zealand all use PAL format, so wasn't a problem for me
As for price and postage it pays to have a look around but usually you can find a good deal that won't cost that much extra (assuming the game you're buying ever makes it to where you live)
