I am trying to help Caracalla ghost to kill his assassins. I am in crowell's house and cannot get into the gated room or the locked room where all the screaming is coming from. I checked all over the place for keys or buttons and cannot find any.

Would someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Found the button near the red X. Where is the key to caracalla's chest though?

It's on his corpse (back to Market Place)

Caracalla: stuck in here. I killed the ghosts. The lights now stay on but the transported wont work for me and the door has a force field. How do you get out of this place?

I made it to the room with the invisible enemy (s), lit all the candles and the ghost appeared for about 5 seconds, then the candles went out and the ghost was invisible again. How do you keep it visible? Kind of lame if you have to keep repeating the candle lighting over and over and over. Any tips on how to keep the ghost visible?

Keep lighting over and over again... Personally, I gave up: I do have patience, but my computer doesn't have the endurance for.

Well, I am playing this game as an RPG where intelligence, strategy and reasoning let you progress. I did not want an arcade game where you keep trying over and over and over and over ad infinitem until something works. This quest is BS and I continue to get more frustrated with this type of inane crap. I will try a couple of more times but there has to be some intelligence in this or it is no fun.

Oh, Zelda games and your awful candle bosses... how your dimly lit boss fights have been passed onto other great RPGs.

Run around in a circle from candle to candle. When you reach an unlit candle light it, and use a range attack. Its definitely easier if you do not melee. When the next candle(s) goes out quickly run to it, light it, and repeat the process

So, I finished the quest for Caracalla, beat all the unseen and got to his chest. My logbook states this quest is still active?what's the final step? I went back to his burning body, nothing going on there...little help if anyone can.
Thanks

during our fight against the unseen he disappeared. But prior to that yes, did I miss something in the dialogue?

Quest completion.
He's supposed to initiate conversation after the unseen are dead.

If he died (could be possible? I don't know) and the quest didn't go to failure that would be a bug...

I may have just taken too long (it was incredibly tedious, with all the candle relighting). He was not there when I was done, so we'll chalk it up to a bug and I'm off the hook.
