Greetings all,

After playing and finfishing The Dragon Knights Saga, I moved on to Divine Dinity.

I have some questions that keep bothering me though:

1. Which level can I hope to achieve in the end?

2. There are so many lovely skills: How many skill points can I hope to achieve? Do I allways get 1 skill point per lvl up, or does this increase or decrease?

3. I play a mage: Will I be able to find mage-like robes which require intelligence to wear? Or do I need to pump up my Str + Agi?

4. Will I be able to find a staff or something that requires int to wear? So far it seems I am in much more need of Str + Agi then Int, which feels a bit weird and awkward for a mage character.

Thanks for your answers!

Without spending a great deal of time resurrecting and re-killing opponents, it would be hard to get above level 53. The most common end range for the game is mid forties to low fifties.

Wisdom - is it worth the skill points?

You get one skill point per level, with IIRC a bonus point every level evenly divisible by 5. Between quest rewards and spell books, you could get another 50 or 60 skill levels by the end of the game.

Free skills, and spell books you can buy

There are no robes, but the merchant in the elven village in the Dark Forest sometimes has mithril armour (also available as a random drop), which is quite strong without the high strength requirements. There is also a special breastplate in the Dark Forest that is invisible on your character, sometimes preferred by mages that don't want to look like they are wearing heavy armour.

differences between classes (minor spoilers)

Early Starter Tips (NON-Spoiler Version) (contains much of the information in the above topic)

I don't recall any weapons that require intelligence in DD (there are in Beyond Divinity).

Without any use of the skill "Wisdom" and have done almost all Quests I reached at the end Level 50.
Also I didn't make use of extra Experience by the Wishing Well !!
(I choose: a Enchanted Sword - for 10 000 goldcoints)

On 7th of february 2015 : I start a new adventure in the Divinity world of Original Sin,
it's a Fantastic Freaking Fabulous Funny ... it's my All Time Favorite One !
