Thank you for the detailed review - it's impressive to see how much thought went into it and how many of the dislikes correspond to things that were planned but were cut for production reasons. Keyrings, no random loot in special chests, facials, dropping objects in the world, map improvements... they were all on somebodies list at some time but ended up as casualties of production decisions.
Divinity 2 was for me, one of the best games I've played in a very long time.
It's always easy to Monday-Morning-Quarterback - especially without the constraints of a real business that is limited by time and money.
But very few games in the last 30 years provide the quantity of gameplay mechanics (that have depth, are fully fleshed out, and
polished) found in DKS - so no matter the criticms I or others might have, in the final analysis Divinity 2 is a winner.
I really hope you folks reap a well deserved financial reward so you can make more of these gems.
