1-3) was already pointed out.

When you bought it was it advertised as an expansion or completely separate game? Although DKS is similar to D2 with the FoV expansion it should be considered a remake of a previously released game. Many developers have remade old titles and I've never encountered a remake that lets you import saves from its predecessor. Although I do agree the timing of the release would make you suspect that you could simply import your old games.

4) There's only a few times it is necessary to mindread to complete a primary quest. Yes, I understand some players dislike the gadget features as did some professional reviewers. I believe the requirement to mindread was to create a greater utility for an otherwise optional feature. I don't know about you but if mindreading was a requirement it shouldn't cost xp-- an issue that was pointed out in many previous critiques.

5) I'd just like to point out that this game is an action RPG so you can expect a few action adventure elements that require a little hand and eye coordination. I found it no more difficult than some classic titles like super mario or even legend of zelda. It's certainly not a shooter title that requires not only good coordination but fast accurate hand movements for aiming. But if you dislike these challenges, they are completely optional and do not contribute in anyway to the main plot as Meidosan pointed out.
