*Reduce the humor - This i say because no matter how much i wanted to feel serious about the game, it just threw a lot of jokes and weirdness toward me, which ruined the mood. Prolly the game was made for a younger audience, but really, kids don`t like jolly stuff. Kids wan`t some really sad, depressing, hardcore stuff.
Aw, no man...I loved the humour in this game, it made it really stand out from those ponderous, boring, po-faced German RPGs I hate, like the Gothic series and it's ilk.
I laughed out loud at the end of the game
with that Champion making the dreadful pun off that old Leonard Cohen song title, "First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin."
Absolute class! And any developer that can throw in nods to
old classic songs like that,
will forever have a place in my heart.
P.S. I am 41, so don't generalize about Larian trying to appeal to children with the humour, heck, how many children will have heard of
