He (or is it a she?) is just sooooo cute !

And Seth, it's "small", not little .

You can say both, just too make sure you dont get too big in the head

But Mea, the risk of makeing me to small (or is it little? ) in the head is a risk you're willing to take?

Lynx, your puppy is just soo cute!! But then again all puppies look cute
Sometimes I regrett the fact that most things that look soo cute when they are small, loos their "cuteness" when they grow up. Like babies, or small chickens, dogs and cats etc... We have now four of these little cute baby chickes and I just love them!!
btw Üb, since you are so good in English, what's the correct word for a baby-chicken?

Chicken. A grownup chicken is called hen .

Very true. Well... it's a dog, not a bear. But still true.
Also becouse of their character. They are very social with humans. Why they're great with kids too. Their easy going character and that they are tough enough is more or less insureance that they won't bite a child when it unwillingly hurts them while playing. They useally step aside and look at you as if they wanna say "what do you think you're doing?" (I speak from experience )

And they keep that "aw, so cute" look on their faces and in their eyes when they grow up.

Are you sure?
In USA they call a grown up chick a woman (and other names I won't repeat here).

Yes i know that. Before we look for this race we have informed us about that.
But generelly is a dog only that what humans make of them !
Every race has its own specials but their not generally aggressive.

Yes, Lynx, you're soo right. The Leonberger is still cute when he is all grown up. I hope you will have lots of fun with him and I hope (didn't catch a name yet) you give it a beautiful name that suits him.

And Seth, yes I also thought a chick is a sexy woman, but maybe they are not in Sweden?

1: You said chicken and 2: all women are sexy in Sweden so we don't really need an extar word for it.

Leonberg are beautiful dogs with an imposing bearing; when they are adult they remind me of "elders", you know? It is the kind of dog I'd imagine with an old hermit wise man, a sherpa, or things like that.
And one of the advantages of the giant breeds is that they generally have a very calm temper. In counterpart they generally don't have a long average lifespan besides the other breeds and they have to be checked a lot during their growth so they don't developpe articulation problems.
Lynx, is it me or your pup is very dark of color? Be sure to post pics and news as he grows up; Barta just started a topic perfect for that in the Anything section.

And... late Happy birthday to those I didn't wish it to.
