Hey Fella's I can't really figure this one out or I missed something. I've done almost every quest in including finding most of the clues. But I cant seem to find solve the something rotten quest. And I'm stuck with the compas you get from trading the toy Zeppelin. Hope you can help me out =D
I have problems with finishing the Something Rotten quest, too. I've read the Wiki article about the quest - but as I can't find the key, no matter how hard I look, it will probably end in my failed or at least unfinished quests very soon O.o

First you must mindread the bartender at the Phoenix Inn. He will reveal information about Halliwell and provide a hint about the key. If he does not mention the key or Halliwell you need to try again or you maybe bugged.
The key is located on the stairs near the pile of debris under the bridge; its equally spaced from the debris to the wall and is not part of the pile. If you are walking down Lanilor Lane from the Ministry you will find it on the left side stairs; its on the right side if you are coming from the teleporter shrine.
