Larian Studios Forums Divinity II The Dragon Knight Saga / Flames of Vengeance (English) Technical problems Outdated save game

Greetings.
I had just DII Ego draconis up till now, bought the saga version today, hoped I'll be able to continue with my characters, but all my saves from ED say "Outdated", tryed to patch it, but it's still the same. Is there a way to continue with the saves from ED please?

I had the same issue. I rectified it by playing through Ego Draconis again... well, until I got to a part (Impulse version only - a fix is in the works) where the game broke.

On the PC, D2:ED saves are compatible with FoV, and playing the game there is a seamless transition into the add-on. With DKS there were too many changes to maintain saved game compatibility (redesigned flying fortresses, changes to enemy placement and loot, etc). You can start a new level 35 character at the beginning of the add-on content, though.
