Before I finished Broken Valley I decided to check out Orobas Fjords before I went to Sentinel Island to get the tower. So I went to Orobas and got as far as the first shrine before deciding I had better turn back as the enemies were a little too tough. But I had already accepted the Red Ore Alert quest. So I went back to Broken Valley and then to Sentinel Island. After completing Sentinel Island I returned to Orobas. After being in Orobas for a couple days I decided to check my logbook and noticed that I had completed the requirements for Red Ore Alert but Crabbe is nowhere to be found. If I am not mistaken he should be on the path somewhere between the exit to Broken Valley and the shrine. I walked the path from the Broken Valley exit to the waterfall at the bottom and I'm starting to think the Imps may have put Crabbe in their cookpot and made a stew out of him (a partially eaten fish dinner - Crabbe stew). Seriously though, I think I broke my quest.

I had trouble finding Crabbe myself, because I'd forgotten where he was.

He's actually just inside the little cave at the very top of the path leading into broken valley where the campfire is (just head upwards/back to broken valley from the first Orobas waypoint shrine until you get to the campfire).

The problem is that his clothing blends into the textures of the cave, and there's some overhanging vegetation that hides the glowing question mark over his head - I walked/flew past several times before I realised/remembered he was there.

Hopefully you just missed him like I did, but if he's genuinely not there, you'll have to contact Larian support - worst case you'll have to send them your save file for them to analyse and fix. Larian is great at dealing with these kind of issues, so don't be afraid to ask.

Thank you so much. He was standing in the cave. It is funny that he says he's waiting for the zeppelin to come and pick him up but it's nowhere to be seen. I wish I could have said the same to him. People are so helpful in this forum. I guess I need to slow down a bit and take a better look. Larian's team did an absolutely fantastic job creating this game - it is by no means easy and the graphics and gameplay are beyond my words. Thanks again.
