It's WMV related.
The best way to work around it?
Remove the skill videos entirely.
This worked perfectly.
The skill videos were nearly impossible to see on my 20 inch monitor anyway. God, it was ridiculous, waiting 15 seconds or so every time I wanted to look at a different skill.
