hi all,
just need a little help. Trying to complete the quest that involves giving simeon two malachite gems in the fjords, to restore his eyesight; however when i speak to him all i can do is say " i must leave you blah blah.."
i have the gems in my inventory so i don't see what the problem is... any help would be grand, thanks

And on another quick note, i also destroyed the red hammer goblin tribe, and recieved a message from talana saying they hate me... is this a bad thing, do i miss quests?

Are you sure that you have at least two malachite gems in your inventory, not just malachite ore?

Try sending the gems to your battle tower, then teleport there to put them back in your inventory and return to the fjords. If there is a glitch with him recognizing that you have the gems, maybe moving them or getting the game to reload the fjords will get it working.



You don't miss any quests (or loot) by destroying the Red Hammer tribe, and at least in D2:ED that was the best way to solve that set of quests. Even if you agreed to kill Aurelius, you would not get the treasure promised by Svadilfari, and he would have turned hostile anyway.

I also had some weirdness with Simeon.

The log mentioned I had 2 and could give them, while only having 1 (I just received, the other got used in an enchantment).
So I go there, give him the one, mission accomplished. :?

I think it incorrectly tries to detect 2 'new' gems since the quest started, instead of actually having 2 gems.
