Hello,

I've noticed that the load screens sometimes warn you that there is a cooldown on the Dragon Stone. It's not clear if this is supposed to be a cooldown timer on the teleportation function of the stone, or the dragon morph function, but I've not actually seen any cooldown on either (although, I've never really tried to use them immediately after re-use, but I've sometimes re-used them within like 10 seconds).

So, I'm wondering if that's one of the changes that was patched into DKS - removal of the cooldown timer?

For the dragon stone, there is no cooldown if you teleport to the battle tower or between platforms, but when you leave the battle tower, at least in D2:ED there was something like a 5 second cooldown before you could teleport again.

I don't think there was a cooldown on the dragon morph stone. IIRC I accidentally transformed in one of the flying fortresses and was able to transform back before dying (once I did that and did die, but I think that was due to flying low and having less time to react).

I don't think there ever was a noticeable cooldown.

Also, even though the game tells you a lot of the time that you need more space to change into your dragon form, often you can change anyway if you jump and transform. This doesn't work if there really IS too little space to transform, though.

From my exp in ED you can transform right out of the water. Found that out after sliding down the side of a cliff. So if you on the ground lvl just jump in the H20.

A great game to play is to jump off the tallest structure you can find ( I use the Statue of a man at the entrance to the valley from the fjords) and see how close you get to the ground before transforming. Or just watching yourself fall and get that awesome sense of vertigo before impact... or is that just me?!

It is there (I once used the exit button when I wanted X, still pretty new to the game then) and couldn't get back for a while, fuddling the use button to no effect frown.

It's pretty minor though yes, as mentioned.
