Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Champion Academy Vault - finding the orbs

I'm finally to what seems to be the end game. I have found three of the orbs. I assume there are 5, since there are 5 clues, but there are seven runes, and I can't seem to find the other two orbs. Can somone give me a hint on the orbae?

And you could make it easier by telling us what orbs you already found and where so we don't have to type out stuff for orbs you already have.

Im guessing that you have the Blue Moon Orb, Violet Blast Orb, and Fire God Orb. Those are the easiest to find. We can give you clues on the two you are missing. But as Stabbey said, we need to know what you have.

I have Violet Blast, White Snow, and Moss Rat orbs. I'm using the Academy helmet, and I have found at least one door that I can't open. I'm guessing one of the others is behind that. Violet Blast was on a glowing path suspended over the main entrance hallway and accessed from the balcony. White Snow was on an altar in a chapel, and Moss Rat was in a cage suspended over the vault and accessed by jumping from platform to platform, some of which were visible with the Academy helmet and some with a regular helmet.

The orbs I'm missing are Blue Moon and Fire God.

The door I can't open hides a small room, according to the map. It is on the upper level of the vault, past the big hole in the floor. I haven't found any obvious levers, pressure plates, or buttons.

There is another room on an upper level near the chapel where White Snow was that has some pressure plates in it. One glows white with the helmet on, the others are plain, but the one to the left of the white one seems to do something when I step on it. I'm guessing that these reveal an orb (or do something) if activated in the right order?

I found the Fire God orb! Now I just need Blue Moon.

legionangel, I really need a clue to find the Blue Moon orb. I can't find that little sucker anywhere in the Academy. Can you help?

i found 5 orbs, but when i put it into the rune , and nothing happened , somebody help me , please ?

They will be on the wrong runes. If you get it right, you should get a cutscene and the door in the floor will be unlocked. Without giving too many spoilers double check the clues you got by 'using' the 5 items you got for the quest e.g the engineer's sword, maxos bracelet etc.

There are 5 orbs but about 8 runes; you just need to put the correct orbs on the correct runes and leave the other incorrect runes with nothing on them.
