The demo was rather brief and limited. Had they given the option to explore any more areas, there would be nothing left to see in the full version. I loved the first DAO/DAA. You had a vast area to roam, and the areas were different. In DA2 you are repeatedly tracing the same areas over and over. the storyline takes a completely different route, with very little connection, aside from a few cameos, from DAO. Although it would have been cool to run into your character from DAO with some interaction.
However, the combat was improved and the textures looked great, but that's where I end the pros. It's still an (ok) game but doesn't hold a candle to DAO. I still haven't completed the game and don't if I will. It just doesn't hold my attention long enough to get there...
