I'm a little stuck in Nimir, I have gotten to the ladder room and lowered the second ladder and climbed it but the next ladder is out of reach. How do I get the ladder down?

Look behind you. There should be a lever (familiar orange color) on a jumpable ledge, lowering another ladder.

Thank you. Next problem is I can't get Ursala to stand still and fight.

If you look down, you should find a rock sticking out, drop on it, and follow it to a small camp with a transporter. Activate it, and she becomes vulnerable (yes, I agree it's kind of cheesy).
