OK well its actually a few questions

1) Once I have a recipe do I need to keep it in order to use it?

if no
2) If I buy the recipe can I immediately sell it back to the vendor or do I need to send it to the dragon tower chest first?

3) do I need to have bought/received a copy of the recipe or do I just need to have seen it in a shop somewhere?

4) If I have an armor/weapon/jewelry I can DE it and get the recipe added to my enchant list is there something similar to that with potions?
if i have a potion in my inventory my alchemist can learn how to make it?

Thanks for your time

In order to use a recipe for enchants or potions you must either send it to your chest or interact with your ench mach/enchanter or alchemist. If a recipe still exists in your chest inventory, then it is a copy and you can sell it.

You can NOT get rec from potions alone.
