In Flames of Vengeance, Lockpick skill can go up to level 7. Talk to Christine in the Ministry to increase your level cap.

You can get a free point in Lockpicking by
Mind-reading Mysus in the Black Market
.

I am up to 6 lock picking and now opened the chest but the other crystal was not in it, any idea where the other crystal might be?
Thanks,
TigerJim

If this is the place under Madame Eve's, then the crystal is nearby. It's a small dungeon. Look around.

Thank you, I found the chest but have not been able to get to it yet.

Also this is a problem, of course I can open the door without him and he is nowhere to be found:

"Inside the room on the second floor of the Cosy Dwelling. You must have defeited Halliwell to get the key to unlock the door."

Thanks.

Halliwell is in the Inn near the Aleroth Gate. Go up one level, mindread the guards, gain entry.

And you need to mind-read Halliwell as well.

I have at last moved along but I still have several Quests to finish. Is there any way to get back to Aleroth once you have entered the Academy, I turned around and saw that the wall was blocked.
Thanks,
TigerJim

Sure you can return to Aleroth. I don't know why a wall would be blocking it off. If nothing else, there's a teleporter shrine in the Academy you can use to get out.

I am looking for the Anti-Demon Grip Spell in The Prancing Seahorse. I don't seem to be able to get to the desk, the vortex is already active to Ursala and I have not been able defeat her yet. Is that spell in fact behind that vortex?
Thanks,

Is there any way to get around this problem? I am having difficulty beating Ursala, unstable mouse problems. There are only a couple of quests that I need to complete and this is one of them, of course Ursala is another.
Thanks,

Nope.

And if you have trouble beating her, how do you defeat other foes?

Thanks,

Just checking - you do realise that Ursala cannot be hurt until you find a certain switch to stop her teleporting around? You can hit her before hand (with ranged attacks) but she won't take any damage.

No I did not know that. I did find the lever, where you jump down from the broken bridge to activate the 2 teleporter's, I did not know about her and that is where I am having trouble. Where is this switch?
Thanks,

My problem with Ursala was and is she keeps teleporting back and forth, I can get down about half way but then she teleports and is fully vitalized again. Even having my demon etc. does not help.
Thanks,

Yep, the lever is the switch I'm talking about - if you can damage her, you can beat her. I could hit her before I found the switch (using fireball at maximum range), but was unable to damage her.

I thought that once the lever was pulled, she stopped teleporting, but I was wrong (sorry) - apparently my character was simply able to do enough damage to kill her before she teleported.

Apparently, if she teleports before she's dead, you need to use the teleporters (that you activated with the lever) to chase her to the other platform, rather than running to follow her - it's the only way to get to her fast enough.
